This is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in our regeneration programme, helping residents navigate the transition into new homes and ensuring communities remain informed, supported and actively involved throughout the regeneration journey.

You'll lead a dedicated team of Neighbourhood Officers focused on regeneration areas, delivering intensive housing management, rehousing support and community engagement services that put customers at the heart of decision‑making.

About the role

As Neighbourhood Manager (Regeneration), you'll provide leadership and direction across neighbourhoods undergoing significant redevelopment. Working closely with residents, colleagues, partners and stakeholders, you'll ensure services are responsive, customer‑focused and tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities regeneration brings.

This role combines operational leadership, housing management expertise and community engagement, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to shape how regeneration services are delivered and create lasting positive outcomes for residents.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading and developing a team of Neighbourhood Officers delivering intensive tenancy, estate management and rehousing support services within regeneration areas.
  • Supporting residents affected by regeneration activity, ensuring they receive clear communication, practical support and personalised rehousing assistance.
  • Driving tenancy sustainment, safeguarding and customer wellbeing, ensuring residents receive the right support at the right time.
  • Working closely with colleagues, contractors, local authorities and other partners to deliver coordinated services and successful regeneration outcomes.
  • Managing performance, budgets and service delivery standards, using customer insight and data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Leading on policy development, service transformation and innovation to improve customer experience and neighbourhood outcomes.

What we're looking for

  • Experience managing and developing teams delivering housing, tenancy management, allocations or estate management services.
  • Strong knowledge of tenancy management legislation, landlord responsibilities and housing‑related regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with customers through complex situations and supporting positive outcomes for diverse communities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with residents, colleagues, partners and stakeholders.
  • Experience using data, performance information and customer insight to improve services and drive decision‑making.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills, with a commitment to excellent customer service.

Desirable:

  • Level 4 CIH qualification (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Experience of regeneration, rehousing or neighbourhood renewal programmes.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Additional Information

  • A basic DBS check is required.
  • Occasional evening and flexible working may be required to support residents and regeneration activity.
