We’re looking for a proactive and well‑organised Facilities Coordinator to join our Facilities Team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, and supporting colleagues, contractors and customers with a friendly, solutions‑focused approach.

You’ll be part of a team that helps ensure our buildings, systems and services operate effectively, contributing to safe, well‑maintained environments across the organisation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Coordinating facilities activity with internal teams, contractors and consultants, helping ensure services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Supporting the team with administration — attending meetings, taking minutes, maintaining records and keeping key systems accurate and up to date.
  • Monitoring and maintaining facilities data, including finance and performance information, and helping produce reports that support good decision‑making.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for enquiries and issues, resolving queries professionally or signposting appropriately, and keeping customers updated throughout.
  • Tracking customer satisfaction information, helping identify trends and opportunities to improve service delivery.
  • Managing documentation and uploads across housing, asset and finance systems, ensuring information is consistent and reliable.
  • Helping identify ways to streamline processes, improve efficiency and support continuous improvement across the team.
  • Providing dependable support for office and telephone cover, representing the Facilities Team where required and contributing positively to shared goals.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience working in a facilities, maintenance or social housing environment, with an understanding of asset‑related processes.
  • Confident use of IT systems, with strong organisational and administrative skills and an eye for detail.
  • Clear and respectful communication skills — able to build positive relationships with colleagues, contractors and customers.
  • A practical, calm approach to problem‑solving, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
  • Experience dealing with enquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring people feel supported and informed.
  • Ability to build cooperative working relationships and work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Numeracy and accuracy when producing written information, data or reports.
  • Flexibility to support occasional evening work, and a full UK driving licence with access to a business‑insured vehicle.
