Senior Income Recovery Officer

This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We have a brilliant opportunity for a new senior officer to join our Income / Rents team.


You will be assisting the team by managing officers who manage WCHG's social rented stock. 
 

NB – as well as managing staff Senior IRO’S also have their own patch.

You will be expected to manage the delivery of a customer-focused, efficient and effective income collection service, keeping high-quality customer service at the absolute forefront of everything you do.


You will be managing, encouraging and supporting other colleagues to assist in the delivery of services which enhance customer experience and that drive continuous improvement in achieving meaningful outcomes to tenants and residents.
 

You will need to ensure the appropriate support is provided to vulnerable residents, by providing advice and support on welfare benefits, financial inclusion and property condition or by signposting to other appropriate services.


Ensuring the team make appropriate and timely referrals to the specialist Living Well teams for those tenants requiring additional support;
