Are you an experienced bricklayer who can multi-skill? Are you someone who takes pride in delivering quality work and providing excellent customer services?

Our Repairs and Property Maintenance team have an exciting new opportunity for a multi-skilled bricklayer in Wythenshawe.
 

We are looking for a talented individual who has the experience and technical knowledge for this busy role and who will be able to work well as part of our responsive repairs team to deliver the best possible service to our residents.
 

What you’ll be doing
 

  • Carrying out all types of bricklaying based repairs and testing to both tenanted & vacant properties as well pre-planned upgrade works. This may include brick work, lintels, damp courses, small flagging jobs. etc
  • Carrying out all your repairs with an ethos of “Right First Time”
  • Keeping all records as required, either on paper or using your PDA
  • Making measurements, quantification and procure materials as required
     

This repairs and maintenance team is focused on ensuring that homes are safe for living in, as well as comfortable and maintained to a standard that you would expect to find in anyone’s home.
 

All work we carry out is done with an ambition of “Right First Time” - completing the job fully with quality workmanship and excellent customer service, particularly ensuring that tenants’ furniture and belongings are protected and treated with respect.
 

What we ask of you
 

  • Experience of working competently in all disciplines normally expected of a qualified bricklayer
  • Experience of working in a customer facing environment and delivering a customer focused service.
  • Experience of maximising the number of repairs completed in a single visit
  • City & Guilds Craft Certificate in Bricklaying (NVQ2) or equivalent in a construction trade
     

Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence is required.
